What every hire includes

The price on each product above is the price of the hire. There is no separate setup charge, no anchoring charge and no pack-down charge, and within 15km of Perth CBD there is no delivery charge either. Every booking, whether it is a backyard birthday in Morley or a school fete in Baldivis, comes with the same five things.

• Delivery to your address, and pack-down at the end of the day
• Professional setup and anchoring — ground stakes on grass, ballast weights on anything hard
• A safety briefing at handover, plus matting at the entry and exit
• $20M public liability insurance, with the certificate supplied for council and school paperwork
• A handheld wind meter that stays with you for the whole booking

The wind meter is the one worth explaining. WorkSafe WA says an inflatable should be evacuated once gusts pass the manufacturer's limit — or 40km/h where no limit is set — and recommends operators measure rather than judge by eye. We check gusts on site before handing the castle over, then leave the meter with you and show you the number at which everyone comes off and the castle gets deflated. There is no charge for shutting down early.

How much space you need

Most Perth backyards take a castle comfortably, but it is worth measuring before you book. Our 5m x 4m castles want a flat, clear area of roughly 6m x 5m — the extra metre gives the anchor lines somewhere to go. The Mega Bounce Tower is the exception: at 3m across it suits a narrower block, because it goes up rather than out.

You will also want about 1m of gate access to get the rolled castle through to the back, and the area needs to be clear of sharp objects, low branches and overhead wires. Slope matters more than people expect: a noticeable fall across the site means the castle cannot be anchored evenly, so tell us if your lawn is on a grade and we will work out whether it fits.

Setting up on concrete, pavers or asphalt is fine. Ground stakes cannot be used there, so the castle is ballasted with weights instead and a $50 hard-surface fee covers the extra gear. Tell us the surface when you book so the right kit is on the van. Not sure it fits? Send your measurements through and we will confirm before you pay anything.

Delivery across Perth

Delivery is free anywhere within 15km of Perth CBD, which covers most of the inner and middle suburbs. Beyond that we charge by distance band rather than by the kilometre, so the fee is predictable and you see it before you pay — never on the day.

Past 250km we quote by hand rather than let the site guess. If you are setting up somewhere other than your own backyard, our suburb pages cover local park rules, council permit requirements and delivery times — including Joondalup, Fremantle, Rockingham, Baldivis, Mandurah and Ellenbrook.

How booking works

Pick your castle, choose the date, and pay a $50 deposit to hold it. The deposit comes off the total, and the balance is due on the day of delivery — cash, bank transfer or card, whichever suits you. The calendar on the booking page shows live availability rather than a request form, so if a date is open it is genuinely open.

Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable for a weekend. School holidays and December fill further out than people expect, and the Spider-Man and Minions castles go first every year.
